ABOUT.

Born and raised in Washington, DC and currently based in Brooklyn, I most love writing about women who do, say, and make cool things. (You can check out my clips here.)  I’ve interviewed everyone from Al Franken to Kathleen Hanna, Barbara Ehrenreich to Jessica Valenti, and tons of music notables like Johnny Marr, Mary Timony, Sleater-Kinney, Christina Aguilera, Ani DiFranco, and Pink.

I’ve published multiple books, and I contributed to the anthologies BITCHFest: Ten Years of Cultural Criticism From the Pages of Bitch Magazine and Somebody’s Child: Stories About Adoption.

When I’m not writing, I’m taking care of kittens at the ASPCA’s Kitten Nursery on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Oh, and reading. And listening to Spotify. And hoarding gummy candy. And watching lots and lots of Netflix.

I’m available for a wide range of freelance writing and editing projects, as well as full-time editorial roles. Contact me for my resume.
